What if…?
Instead of working so hard to overcome whatever challenge you are facing in life right now, what if you could simply “shift” instead to a new parallel reality of your life that already exists in which you are living the type of experience you prefer? This idea alone has recently helped me to climb out of a mini depression, find some semblance of hope, and begin to reclaim my inner power once again.
Several weeks ago I attended an intensive mind-body-spirit plant medicine healing retreat in Peru (see slideshow images). The retreat experience itself was incredible: I met so many wonderful people, and came to so many life-changing realizations while I was there. However, once I came back home, I found it difficult to reintegrate back into the routine of my home life after experiencing such highs. This proved to be a bigger challenge than I had anticipated, and with each passing day I sank further and further into depression.
Thankfully (or should I say “synchronistically”) this past week I’ve been having some amazing conversations with a new friend I met while on the retreat (yes, yes: you M.W!) which have helped me tremendously because my friend reminded me of the wisdom taught by one of my favourite metaphysical (aka Law of Attraction) teachers: Bashar. Before I was ready to remember/relearn Bashar’s teachings (which explain why and how you can shift to a new reality of your life that you prefer) my friend sent me a link to a specific piece of music by Beethoven. When you listen to it, the music subtly changes your vibrational frequency, your state of being, so that you begin to mentally let go, forgive yourself, and let go of grief and regret. According to Bashar:
…this particular piece of music, is of the appropriate vibration, to allow you to be in the proper state, to attract whatever information, healing, situation, people, or opportunities that you require
This is The Law of Attraction at it’s best! When I did the very thing I describe below, I experienced some immediate results. After listening to the 30-minute music loop, I decided that I was going to simply let go. Let go of a few things that were causing me to feel down – mostly related to finances (or lack thereof) and my career (in which nothing had been happening for some time: no calls from clients, no sales, no money, nada). Let go of trying to make things happen in my life. Let go of all of the things I thought I should have done or didn’t do. Let go completely, and shift to a new reality of my life in which the universe shows me where it wants me to go and what it wants me to do next. I had been fighting this for so long, the time had come to let go completely.
And then two things happened out of the blue that were small, yet significant to me. After being dropped several times, subjected to several hard knocks, and washed away by a salt water wave while I was meditating on a beach near the Moche Pyramids of El Brujo in Peru (pictured above), my iPhone stopped working altogether. Once I got back home to Canada, I took it to Apple Store technicians who, after running several hours of diagnostic tests and attempting to charge the phone, declared it completely “dead” and told me that I’d need to buy a replacement phone to the tune of $300. Since my funds were at an all-time low, this unfortunate event had simply added fuel to the fire of my growing depression.
About an hour after I listened to both the music that my friend recommended and to Bashar’s teaching, I found a bit of energy and motivation to get out of bed, take a shower, clean up and clear away from my bedroom floor a week’s worth of unpacked luggage, dirty laundry, trampled clothing, miscellaneous papers and half-eaten food. Buried deep in the recesses of a bedside table armoire I discovered a brand new phone charger cord.
I absentmindedly plugged one end of the cord into an electrical outlet and the other end into my phone. Not surprisingly, it didn’t work; the phone display didn’t light up – and hadn’t done so for several weeks. Right at that moment, a friend messaged me and urged me to meet up with him for lunch and go for a walk, so I left home and forgot all about the phone – until I returned home about two hours later and noticed that the phone display was now partially lit and showed two slim bars of battery life out of ten were lit up. My phone was somehow working again! I’m happy to report that it is now working – almost perfectly…
Secondly, after months of communicating with prospective clients and getting absolutely nowhere, three prospective clients suddenly emailed me that same day to set up face-to-face meetings. For me, this was confirmation from the universe that I’m going in the right direction, that I shouldn’t abandon the work I was doing and try something else (contrary to the ‘wisdom’ of my ego), and that I should simply continue to let go and allow the universe to work on my behalf and in my best interest. If you are willing to try this for yourself, follow these 2 simple steps:
- Before you do anything, please listen to the music in this YouTube video to shift your vibration (watch the first two minutes of the video for a brief explanation of how it works). If you found the music to your liking, you can also listen to a 30-minute loop of the most important segment of the music. I keep it on as background music while I write, create videos and do housework.
- Once you have listened to the music, I recommend that you listen to Bashar’s teaching on how to shift from your current reality to a reality you prefer. For me, this information is incredibly powerful and life-affirming. Bashar delivers a lot of information in a short period of time, so take your time and listen to it as many times as you need to absorb the wisdom.
And when you experience that shift – as I know you will – let me know how it worked out for you too. I’d love to hear your story! <3
